UriCell

Das Gründerteam von UriCell: Lucas-Sebastian Spitzhorn, Wasco Wruck, Prof. James Adjaye, Martina Bohndorf, Audrey Ncube (v.l.) und Paul Stut (unten).

UriCell is a spin-off project from the Institute for Stem Cell Research and Regenerative Medicine of the
University Hospital Düsseldorf and uses urine as an innovative non-invasive biomaterial to generate
human personalised kidney stem cell products for drug testing, disease modelling and for regenerative
medicine.

„In the process of establishing a biotech start-up providing kidney stem cells from urine for research and medical purposes, the UriCell team always strives to improve and get better every day. Therefore, we are really grateful to be part of Batch #3 of the Future Champions Accelerator. We see it as a great opportunity to learn new skills, develop new mindsets, come together with interesting persons and grow as founders.“
